Gender-Neutral Clothing

Many articles highlighted gender-neutral clothing brands. Project Uni-form in Taiwan claims to have created the first gender-neutral school uniform. The Chief Creative Officer stated, “Project Uni-form is the creative and design embodiment of our love for this land, where we transformed the abstract pursuit for mutual understanding and diversity into actual clothing. We hope to better society with Project Uni-form’s support in joining the conversation so each one of us can confidently be proud of who we are and express their true self comfortably. This is what the project aims to achieve.” 

One article highlighted the creators of gender-neutral brand TomboyX, known for their boxer-briefs and inclusive sizing which has gained them popularity in recent years. When asked about their greatest accomplishment they stated, “I think that we resonate, and that we’re impacting so many lives and making a difference. We hear from customers every single day. They’ve had all of our best ideas. When you tap into a group of people that have never been seen or heard, well, they have a lot to say and they’ve got some really good ideas. And so we just love being that vehicle for change and making people’s lives better by focusing on quality underwear that fits and that last.” 

The cough medicine brand Mucinex is creating a gender-neutral “Sickwear” collection for their customers to wear while they’re sick.
